■ Source

VEGNPROY®Fava bean proteins are primarily found in the seeds of fava beans, though they are also present in lower concentrations in the stems and leaves. The active ingredients are retained through a process involving dehulling, crushing, and separating to extract concentrated or isolated proteins.

■ Nutritional Value

Fresh fava beans have a protein content of about 8-10 g per 100 g, while dried fava beans can reach 25-30%. This is significantly higher than most cereals and vegetable crops. Their plant-derived properties make them naturally cholesterol-free, which reduces the risk of cardiovascular disease. Additionally, VEGNPROY®Fava bean protein contains eight essential amino acids, particularly lysine, with a ratio close to that of meat and eggs, and high bioavailability.

 Antioxidant

The low glycemic index and high dietary fiber of VEGNPROY®Fava bean protein work together to delay sugar absorption and stabilize postprandial blood glucose. Its high satiety properties make it suitable for obese individuals looking to control their calorie intake.

VEGNPROY®Fava bean protein is rich in flavonoids and vitamin C, which are antioxidants that scavenge free radicals and slow down cell aging.

 Intestinal health

VEGNPROY®Fava bean protein contains dietary fiber that regulates the balance of intestinal flora. Resistant starch promotes the growth of bifidobacteria and strengthens the immune barrier. Vitamin C works together with zinc, iron, and other trace elements to boost immune function.

VEGNPROY®Fava bean protein Health Benefits:

 Cardiovascular health

VEGNPROY®Fava bean protein regulates blood pressure with the help of potassium. Dietary fiber reduces cholesterol absorption and the risk of atherosclerosis. The folic acid and choline components lower homocysteine levels and maintain vascular function.
