Vitamin A palmitate works by promoting growth and development, maintaining normal vision, maintaining skin integrity, improving immunity, and maintaining reproductive function.

Nutrivitas®Vitamin A palmitate Health Benefits:

Nutrivitas®Vitamin A palmitate is an ester of retinol (Vitamin A) combined with palmitic acid to form a more stable molecule that retains the beneficial properties of vitamin A while improving its storage and bioavailability.

■ Source

Vitamin A palmitate is a fat-soluble derivative of vitamin A that is widely found in nature, especially in animal foods such as liver, egg yolk, and dairy products. Nutruoil®Vitamin A palmitate is mainly produced by synthesis, and the methods mainly include chemical synthesis and enzymatic methods. Chemical synthesis offers a higher yield and better quality synthesis method, while enzymatic methods show advantages in terms of cost reduction and efficiency.

■ Metabolism

When ingested, Nutrivitas®Vitamin A palmitate is first emulsified by bile salts in the small intestine. Enzymes, particularly pancreatic lipase, hydrolyze it, releasing retinol and palmitic acid. Retinol is then absorbed by the intestinal mucosa. Inside the enterocytes, retinol re-esterifies with long-chain fatty acids to form retinyl esters. These retinyl esters are subsequently incorporated into chylomicrons, which enter the lymphatic system and eventually the bloodstream.
