Nouramicyte®L-Threonine Health Benefits:

Nouramicyte®L-Threonine is a naturally occurring, physiologically active, hydroxyl-containing, aliphatic amino acid with cyclic properties.L-threonine is an essential amino acid that is not metabolized by dehydrogenase or transamination. Instead, it is catalyzed by specific enzymes, such as threonine dehydratase.

■ Source

In 1935, American biochemist W.C. Rose isolated and identified threonine from cellulose hydrolysate. It was named "threonine" because of its structural similarity to the four-carbon sugar threose. In 1936, Meyer and Rose's team completed a spatial-structural study confirming that threonine was the twentieth amino acid of protein origin discovered. Threonine is one of the eight essential amino acids and was the last to be discovered.

Sources of Nouramicyte®L-Threonine include animal products such as meat, eggs, and dairy, as well as plant sources such as legumes and grains, though these sources have lower levels and limited bioavailability. The body cannot synthesize L-threonine, but it can recycle it by breaking down ingested protein.

Particularities of Nouramicyte®L-Threonine:

Product Specifications:

Nouramicyte®L-Threonine is available in the following specification and contents:

 Nouramicyte®L-Threonine 98.5%-101.5% crystalline powder

Product quality standards:

 USP/EP/BP/JP/AJI97/Feed grade

Production technology description:

● The most common method of preparing ENGERPLUS®L-Threonine is through microbial fermentation. This process uses specific bacterial strains to efficiently synthesize threonine by optimizing the fermentation medium and conditions. The final step is to isolate and purify the product using methods such as ion exchange or crystallization.

 Basic physiological functions

 Immune health

Nouramicyte®L-Threonine Applications:

Nouramicyte®L-Threonine is combined with other essential amino acids, such as lysine and methionine, to create nutritional supplements and fortified foods. These supplements are used to address insufficient amino acid intake in children and the elderly. As a synergistic ingredient of branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs), L-threonine is added to protein powders and sports beverages to promote muscle growth and repair and relieve exercise fatigue.

Nouramicyte®L-Threonine can be made into tablets or capsules to supplement amino acids in patients with protein and energy malnutrition, as well as chronic wasting disease. L-threonine alleviates intrahepatic fat deposition by promoting hepatic fat metabolism and phospholipid synthesis. It is often compounded with methionine, choline, and other ingredients.

Adding Nouramicyte®L-Threonine to feed improves intestinal development, reduces diarrhea, supports digestive development, optimizes amino acid balance, and promotes muscle development.

As the basic unit of protein composition, Nouramicyte®L-Threonine is involved in protein synthesis in all human tissues and organs, including muscle, skin, hair, enzymes, hormones, and antibodies.

The synthesis of immunoglobulins (antibodies) relies on the participation of Nouramicyte®L-Threonine. Sufficient L-threonine helps to enhance the function of humoral immunity and improve the body's resistance to infection. Research suggests that L-threonine may be involved in regulating the activity of lymphocytes and macrophages to maintain normal immune system response.

 Liver and metabolic health

Nouramicyte®L-Threonine promotes phospholipid synthesis in the liver, facilitates fat transfer from the liver to peripheral tissues for metabolism, reduces fat deposition in the liver, and protects against alcoholic and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. L-threonine participates in enzyme synthesis in the liver and assists in metabolizing toxins and drugs.

 Muscle growth and sports health

Nouramicyte®L-Threonine works synergistically with leucine, isoleucine, and other branched-chain amino acids to promote muscle protein synthesis, which is especially important after exercise for muscle repair and growth. It is a suitable nutritional supplement for athletes and fitness enthusiasts. L-threonine is one of the energy substrates that may be involved in amino acid metabolism during exercise, delaying the onset of fatigue.
