Nouramicyte®L-Valine Health Benefits:

Nouramicyte®L-Valine is an essential amino acid and a gluconeogenic amino acid for mammals. In animals, the L-type is readily absorbed by the intestinal wall and has twice the physiological effect of the D-type. L-valine is also one of the three branched-chain amino acids.

■ Source

In 1856, the German chemist Gotthard Fischer isolated an unknown compound from pancreatic extracts for the first time, but did not explicitly name it. In 1901, Emil Fischer successfully isolated the substance from a protein hydrolysate (casein). In 1906, Fischer determined its chemical structure to be 2-amino-3-methylbutyric acid and named it "valine."

Nouramicyte®L-Valine is found in many foods, including cereals, dairy products, mushrooms, corn, peanuts, soy protein, and meat (such as fish, poultry, and beef). As one of the eight essential amino acids in the human body, it must be obtained through diet and cannot be synthesized by the body.

Production technology description:

● The mainstream method of industrializing Nouramicyte®L-Valine production is through microbial fermentation. This method uses metabolically engineered E. coli or Corynebacterium glutamicum to enhance L-valine synthesis efficiency and optimize the glycolysis pathway to reduce by-product accumulation. The fermentation broth is then filtered using a ceramic membrane, adsorbed using ion exchange resin, decolorized using activated carbon, and concentrated and crystallized to obtain the L-valine products.

Nouramicyte®L-Valine Applications:

Nouramicyte®L-Valine compensates for the absence of essential amino acids in plant proteins and improves protein balance. It is used as a fortifier of essential amino acids in infant formula to support growth and development. As a core component of branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs), it is added to energy drinks and sports supplements to promote muscle synthesis and repair and relieve exercise fatigue. It is also used as a safe ingredient in diabetes-friendly formulas for meal replacement powders and low-sugar foods because it does not raise blood glucose.

Richtek L-valine can be used as a feed additive to optimize amino acid balance, improve growth performance, and reduce soybean meal usage (and thus lower nitrogen emissions). L-valine can also be used in a compound amino acid infusion to treat hepatic coma, cirrhosis, and liver failure, as well as to regulate protein metabolism.

Nouramicyte®L-Valine promotes muscle tissue synthesis and repair, maintains a positive nitrogen balance (which is especially important for athletes and people recovering from surgery), and prevents muscle catabolism. It also reduces exercise fatigue during high-intensity exercise.

Nouramicyte®L-Valine can be converted into glucose through the gluconeogenesis pathway. This process supplies the body with energy when glycogen is insufficient. L-valine also works with leucine and isoleucine to regulate blood glucose levels, though this requires the joint action of all three amino acids.

Nouramicyte®L-Valine has been shown to enhance excitatory nerve function and regulate inhibitory nerve function. Nouramicyte®L-Valine can regulate neurotransmitter balance, improve cognitive and emotional stability, and is the only branched-chain amino acid that can cross the blood-brain barrier.
