Nouramicyte®L-Phenylalanine Health Benefits:

Nouramicyte®L-Phenylalanine is a white, crystalline powder and an essential amino acid, meaning it cannot be synthesized by the human body and must be ingested through food. It belongs to a class of α-amino acids with chiral and nonpolar properties.

■ Source

L-phenylalanine compounds were first isolated from yellow lupine seedlings in 1879 by German chemists Schulze and Barbieri and again in 1882 by Erlenmeyer and Lipp. Erlenmeyer and Lipp completed the synthesis of phenylacetaldehyde, ammonia, and hydrogen cyanide in 1882, giving the compound its official name. In 1901, American chemist Friedrich Sigurd extracted the biologically active L-phenylalanine from malt, confirming that it was the most bioactive compound. L-phenylalanine was found to be cyclic. In the middle of the 20th century, industrial production was established for pharmaceutical and food applications, such as aspartame synthesis.

Nouramicyte®L-phenylalanine is derived primarily from protein-rich foods, such as meat, eggs, dairy products, beans, and nuts. Beef, eggs, and soybeans, for example, are all good sources.

Particularities of Nouramicyte®L-Phenylalanine:

Product Specifications:

Nouramicyte®L-Phenylalanine is available in the following specification and contents:

 Nouramicyte®L-Phenylalanine 98.5%-101.5% crystalline powder

Product quality standards:

 USP/EP/BP/JP/AJI97/FCC7/Feed grade

Production technology description:

The two main production processes for ENGERPLUS®L-Phenylalanine are microbial fermentation and chemical synthesis. In the microbial fermentation method, modified E coli or Corynebacterium glutamicum are used as production strains and sugar sources (e.g., glucose) are used to ferment and synthesize L-phenylalanine. The product is obtained through membrane separation, ion exchange, and crystallization techniques. The chemical synthesis method includes the benzaldehyde and phenylacetaldehyde methods.

Nouramicyte®L-Phenylalanine Applications:

Nouramicyte®L-Phenylalanine is an essential amino acid that is added to cereals, dairy products, and bakery products to enhance the nutritional balance of proteins. It is condensed with L-aspartic acid to form aspartame, which is widely used in sugar-free beverages, confectionery, and other low-calorie foods. L-phenylalanine can also be added to sports foods, senior foods, and infant formulas to meet specific nutritional needs.

Nouramicyte®L-Phenylalanine compound infusion is used to treat liver function abnormalities, frailty, and postoperative recovery. Targeted delivery of drugs to cancerous tumor areas is three to five times more efficient than with other amino acids, reducing toxic side effects.

As an animal nutritional additive, Nouramicyte®L-Phenylalanine can enhance the growth performance of livestock and poultry, such as weight gain and egg production rates. It can also decrease feed intake in cases of deficiency, enhance pets' ability to resist disease, and optimize the amino acid ratio of feed.

Nouramicyte®L-Phenylalanine is an essential amino acid that cannot be synthesized by the human body. It is a key raw material for protein synthesis and maintains the growth and repair of muscles, bones, and soft tissues. L-phenylalanine also participates in the synthesis of enzymes and hormones, supporting basic metabolic functions.

Nouramicyte®L-Phenylalanine is converted to tyrosine, which is then used to synthesize dopamine, norepinephrine, and epinephrine. These neurotransmitters regulate mood, concentration, and the stress response. L-phenylalanine can also promote the release of neurotransmitters, enhancing memory and mental agility.

 Metabolic health

Nouramicyte®L-Phenylalanine is a core ingredient in the low-calorie sweetener aspartame. It replaces sucrose in diabetic foods and is up to 200 times sweeter than sucrose. L-phenylalanine reduces fat accumulation, prolongs endurance during high-intensity exercise, and delays fatigue.
